Spring Term 2 - Important Dates

Monday 26th February  - Start of Term 4. Doors open at 8.40am.

 

Wednesday 28th February - Phonics Workshop for children and parents in Year 1 starting at 8.15am.

 

Friday 8th March - World Book Day - Children to wear pj's  and bring their favourite book and a blanket.

 

Tuesday 12th March - Dance Festival at the Winding Wheel, Chesterfield. Children to arrive at school at 8.15am prompt.

 

Monday 18th March - NSPCC Speak Out Stay Safe Assembly in school.

 

Thursday 21st March - Phonics Workshop for children and parents in

Year 1 starting at 3.15pm.

 

Wednesday 27th March - Toy Museum in Year 1 for parents and carers starting at 2.30pm. Please feel free to come and see what your child has been learning and play some games with them!

 

Thursday 28th March - Last day of Spring Term 2. Children finish at 3.15pm for the Easter break!

Spring Term 1 Important Dates

Monday 8th January - Start of Spring Term 1. Doors open at 8.40am

 

Wednesday 17th January - Phonics Meeting for Parents at 3.15pm - more details to follow via Parent Hub.

 

Monday 22nd January - Nurses visit to talk about changings to nursing and how nursing was different for Florence Nightingale.

 

Thursday 25th January - Dental hygiene session including the plaque disclosing tablet for those children who have had written consent.

 

Monday 5th February - Start of Children's Mental Health Week - more details to follow via Parent Hub.

 

Tuesday 13th February - Parents Evening I starting at 3.30 until 6pm - watch out for your email to book your slot.

 

Thursday 15th February - Parents Evening II starting at 3.30 until 6pm - watch out for your email to book your slot. Last Day - End of Term 3.

 

Friday 16th February - Inset Day - school closed to children.

Monday 6th November - Start of Term 2

 

Monday 13th November - Odd Socks Day for Anti-Bullying Week

 

Friday 17th November - Children in Need day (more information please see Parent Hub on what to wear)

 

Wednesday 30th November - No Pen Day for Speech and Language UK (more information to follow about this via Parent Hub)

 

Friday 1st December - Virtual online webinar with authors Nick Sharratt and Pippa Goodhart based on the book 'You Choose Christmas'

 

Wednesday 6th December - School panto visiting school in the morning

 

Friday 8th December - Christmas Fayre at school 2pm until 3.30pm

 

Tuesday 12th December - Nativity Show at 2pm (more information to follow)

 

Thursday 14th December - Nativity Show at 2pm (more information to follow)

 

Thursday 21st December - Break up - Term 2 ends

 

Friday 22nd December - INSET day - school closed to children

Thursday 28th September 2023 - Year 1 visit to Eckington Church as part of their RE learning on Belonging.

 

Monday 2nd October 2023 - School Photo Day!

Tuesday 24th October 2023 - Parents' Evening I - please make sure to book a slot.

 

Wednesday 25th October 2023 - Parents' Evening II - please make sure to book a slot.

 

Thursday 26th October 2023 - Open afternoon and Friends of Camms Annual General Meeting - more details to follow via Parent Hub.

 

Friday 27th October 2023 - Autumn Term 1 finishes and children break up for October half-term.
