Welcome to the Friends of Camms page. This page will have the meeting agendas, minutes of meetings and fundraising projects.
Friends of Camms aims to raise money for the school and to forge good relationships between parents and teachers. We hope that engendering a 'community' feel will help the school to flourish because of the strong links and support we give one another. If you have something you would like to say or contribute please contact one of our fantastic members of Friends of Camms (see list below.) We would love to hear from you!

Friends of Camms PTA - Event 13 - Hawaiian Disco - Friday 28th June 2024
Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 Disco Photos!
KS2 Disco Photos!
Grab your flowery shirt, flower garland and grass skirt for the Hawaiian Disco which will take place on Friday 28th June 2024. Reception, Year 1 and Year 2's disco will start at 3.15pm until 4.30pm and KS2's disco will start at 5pm and finish at 6.30pm. Tickets on sale until Friday 21st June only via Parent Pay. Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 tickets are priced at £4 each with a small party bag at the end. KS2 tickets are priced at £3 each. Don't miss out!
Friends of Camms Easter Trail - Event 12 - To be completed over the Easter Holiday!
Friends of Camms are running an Easter Trail which will need to be completed over the Easter break. Various letters will be placed in and around Eckington in local businesses and homes for the children to find and record on their Easter Trail map. The letters will spell an Easter themed phrase. Maps will be priced at £1 each with all completed maps handed back in on Monday 15th April receiving a small prize. One prize per map. All completed maps will go into a prize draw which will be drawn during Star of the Week assembly on Friday 19th April. Maps will be available to purchase from the school office from Monday 25th March to Thursday 28th March only. £1 in cash and the correct money only. Thank you.
Friends of Camms Event 11 - Starbooks Cafe - Friday 8th March 2024
To celebrate World Book Day, Friends of Camms will be providing free refreshments and biscuits at the Starbooks Cafe which will start at 8.15am in the school hall. This event will provide parents/carers an opportunity to read and share a book with their child/children before school to promote reading for pleasure. All welcome. Thank you.
Friends of Camms - Event 10 - School Disco - Friday 2nd February 2024!
Friends of Camms School Disco will be held on Friday 2nd February 2024.
Reception and KS1 will start at 3.15pm and finish at 4.30pm.
KS2 will start at 5pm and finish at 6.30pm.
Tickets will go on sale via Parent Hub on Tuesday 9th January until Tuesday 30th January. Reception and KS1 tickets are £4.00 which will include a party bag at the end of the disco and £3.00 for KS2 with a tuck shop available on the night for KS2 only.
Friends of Camms - Event 9 - Refreshments at the EYFS and KS1 Christmas Nativity performances.
Friends of Camms will be selling refreshments and mince pies during both EYFS and KS1 nativity performances on Tuesday 12th December and Thursday 14th December 2023. More details of follow via Parent Hub.
Friends of Camms - Event 8 - Christmas Hamper Raffle - Friday 1st December and 8th December 2023
Friends of Camms will be selling raffle tickets for the Christmas hamper raffle at the Eckington Christmas market on Friday 1st December and at the school Christmas Fayre on Friday 8th December 2023. More information on how to purchase your raffle tickets to follow via Parent Hub.
Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Thursday 26th October 2023. More details to follow but save the date!

Friends of Camms Event 1: Non-uniform day on Friday 7th October in exchange for a donation for the house coloured hamper raffle!
