Welcome to Year 3
Y3 are a hard-working class of 26 children who love learning. We love telling people about our day so please ask us what we did that day.
Our class teacher is Mr. Hill who is ably supported by Mrs Elliott and Mr Webb. We work as a team. Mr Lowry teaches our class on Thursday mornings and we have Mrs Salt who teaches us recorders and music on Thursday mornings.
Our PE days for this term are Wednesday and Thursday so please make sure appropriate kit is worn on these days.
Tuesdays and Thursdays are PE so the children should wear their house colour or a white polo with navy or black bottoms and appropriate footwear.
Finally, I will be updating our page on a regular basis with lots of photos of our class work so be sure to check the 'Our Learning' section of our page to see what we have been up to!
Year 3 is going to be amazing! Working together we can make it their best year yet.

YEAR 4 MULTIPLICATION TABLES CHECK (it sounds so far away but it isn't!)
Year 4 children are required to take part in the government multiplication check in the summer term. For this they need to confidently know all of their times tables up to x12 to be able to answer any multiplication question within 6 seconds.
Y3 will be putting in lots of hard work in class towards the multiplication check but work at home will also be really beneficial. the sooner the children know their tables the easier that multiplication, division, reading a clock. ratio and proportion, fractions, decimals and percentages become to learn and use. 10 minutes at a time is all you need to help your child become a TTRockstar Superstar.
