When children arrive at school in the morning, please go to your normal room. Mrs. Crotty or Mrs. Roddis will take you to your new teacher, teaching assistant and classroom. Your Year 5 teacher will take the class out to the gate at home time.
World War II
Write down eight facts that you know about World War Two. If you don't know eight, swap facts with somebody else, unless you have completed the eight boxes.
Children need to draw an aerial view of how they would like their Year 5 classroom to look in September. Include the interactive whiteboard, write on whiteboard, teacher's desk and 15 children's desks, plus storage cupboards and a book corner.
