Hello Y6,
Today (22/10/2020) we have a problem solving activity which is to find the 2-digit number which is also a cube number. Now this may seem quite daunting but if you watch the powerpoint it will become clearer.
Once you have completed the work then upload on Purple Mash so I can see what you have done.
As an Extension you need to find the 3-digit number which is also a square number.
Good Luck. Keep Calm and look for number patterns.
Stay Safe,
Mr. H
Now what? I mean, the Earth is gone. And not only are you stuck on the space station above it, there is not a single soul left with you. You are all by yourself. What would you do? Watch the video to find out what you could do and plan a story about you trapped on the International Space Station looking down on Earth.
Plan a short story about your misadventures trapped in space. Remember the story needs to be 1 page of A4 or bigger. Use all your writing skills (Non-negotiables) to make the story come to life. Upload your story to Purple Mash when you're finished with it.
Hello Y6,
Today (15/10/2020) we have a problem solving activity which is to find all of the square numbers less than 1000. Now this may seem quite daunting but if you watch the powerpoint and the video it will become clearer.
Once you have completed the work then upload on Purple Mash so I can see what you have done.
Alternatively all the files are available on Purple Mash so you could start there.
Good Luck. Keep Calm and look for number patterns.
Stay Safe,
Mr. H
