Why not create a rainy day painting or starry night picture using wax resist. Just draw on the paper using a light crayon or even a candle. Wash over it with very thin, watery blue or black paint - this is also a great technique for creating secret messages!

Rainbows always look beautiful! Why not create a lovely rainbow using paint, paper plates or even skittles [the sweets!!}

Oak academy Video lesson - A Winter walk picture A lesson to encourage the children to think about hot / cold colours and what they would see outside in Winter. Although not required, it would be lovely if the children could go on a Winter walk or look in the garden for signs of Winter. You will need some paper, coloured crayons or felt tips, glitter and glue ( but don’t worry if you don’t have these it is still worth a watch)
