• Prayer Space

  The Collective Worship Team helped run a Prayer Space at school over the last couple of weeks. 

   

  Comments from the children who visited the Prayer Space included:

   

  "It is a quiet and peaceful place."

   

  "Thank you for making the Prayer Space so I can think."

   

  The Collective Worship Team are planning to run three Prayer Spaces over the course of the year. 

  

• Choir!

  Choir have been out and about entertaining the community over the last 2 weeks. They performed Christmas songs at the Civic's annual Christmas dinner and also entertained the elderly ladies and gentlemen at Penny Engine Lane Care home. Well done to all involved.

• Another fantastic turn out for our Christmas Fair.

  Thanks to all who came to our Christmas fair. The children worked really hard to top last years fair. They decided on stalls, pricing, resources etc as part of their understanding of 'enterprise'. I am sure you will agree we have some Alan Sugars in the making!

  You are warmly invited to attend our school's Christingle service on Thursday 3rd December at 6.30p pm. Please make sure you return the slip sent home last week to confirm whether your child/children will be coming. This will help us to make sure that all school children in attendance are given a Christingle as part of the service.

   

  Although each church and school celebrates Christingle in its own way, the spirit of Christingle remains the same: coming together as a community to celebrate, whilst helping children who are in desperate need of support (Children's Society website).

   

  All donations to the Children's Society will be gratefully received.
