  We also had a little stop-off at the wonderful Mining Memorial.  Coming from a mining-family, I think this is amazing!

  

• Y1 Poppy Planting

  Year 1 were invited to Church yesterday to help with the planting of the poppies , in readiness for Remembrance Sunday.

   

  The children enjoyed making the poppy field, and looking around the churchyard, whilst working together to get the job done.

   

  Thanks To Gill from the Eckington Poppy Club for the invite and for providing the poppies.

   

  Hopefully the weather doesn't blow them all away!

  King Charlie (honest) and Queen Jade were absolute superstars on Friday 5th May as part of the Coronation celebrations.
