But when you are invited, go and sit in the lowest place, so that when your host comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, move up higher.’ Then you will be honoured in the presence of all who sit at table with you.
Thinking of others
Respect and reverence is all about being aware of how you treat others and of how you act when treated. Not everything goes smoothly in school, or outside of school, but by thinking of the other person, we can be better people.
