This half term we completed lots of lovely activities around the story 'The day the crayons quit'! This is a whole school topic. Children really enjoyed experimenting with colour, writing letters to and from the crayons and completing maths activities around the characters.
We have now moved on to the 'Outer space' topic. We are learning all about planets and astronauts! We have a space rocket role play area in our classroom! The children are enjoying using their imagination when we 'visit' other planets and see what is there!
Wait until you see all of the lovely art work we are producing!
Lockdown
So sorry that we won't be seeing your lovely children for a while - but better to be safe than sorry. Your children have made a wonderful start at school and we really hope that you continue to support them with their learning journey.
We will do all we can to help with this and are always available at the end of a phone or via the e-mail contact form on our class page.
Please don't panic at the thought of home schooling. I will update this page regularly and give you lots of ideas of things to do at home using any resources you can lay your hands on. We will explore apps such as Purple Mash and even Microsoft Teams one step at a time.
