A short note from Mr Cocking

 WELCOME BACK!

I hope the holiday period has refreshed the batteries, so that we can all start a new year with energy and enthusiasm.

As you know, Mrs Caulton’s retirement has given me the opportunity to lead the school over the coming terms.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Caulton for her hard work and dedication to the school throughout her 16 (yes, 16!) years at the helm.

Education though, doesn’t stand still and with the introduction of the new curriculum, infant free school meals, assessment procedures and other initiatives, we are in for exciting times at school.  I intend to support you as parents, the staff as educators and the children as learners during my time in charge to help us all achieve the best possible outcomes.  I will also be looking to make other changes to the school and environment to help shape the new direction and future of Camm’s School.

Many of you know me and have spoken to me at the school gates or in class, which is something I appreciate and wish to continue.  If you haven’t spoken to me yet - don’t be a stranger!  The children will (hopefully) back me up when I say I don’t bite!  So if you have any questions, comments, queries or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact me through the usual channels.

Many thanks for your help and support now and in the future.

Mr T Cocking

Acting Headteacher
