Welcome to Year 1.
Year 1 is the first year of the National Curriculum for the children and involves both table based learning and play-based learning (mainly in the afternoon).
Year 1 staff are Mrs Womble and Mrs Treweek. Mrs Womble will be in class daily apart from every other Wednesday when Mrs Yeomans will be teaching the children. Mrs Treweek is in class daily apart from Friday afternoons. Mr Webb will be in Year 1 Friday afternoons only.
In Year 1, reading books are changed Tuesdays and Fridays unless specified on Parent Hub. Thursday afternoons the children will have outdoor learning on the school field which focuses on team-building, communication, learning, creativity and fun!
Please keep up-to-date with important dates, letters and our PE days via Parent Hub and our Class Page. A weekly reminder will be sent on Sundays with information for the upcoming week.
