Art

Choose a natural object / scene and then draw it. Colouri it in the style of Georgia O’Keeffe.

The lessons so far have been a build up to this.

Plan – Draw – Colour – your own picture in the style of Georgia O’Keefe.

Inspiration can come from any source :

  • a picture in a book
  • an object from the garden
  • the view from your house

It is your choice of what to do. Have fun and if you can make it as large as you can. Georgia O'Keeffe loved big pictures.

MUSIC:

Again, you are going to look at some composing. This time however, you are going to pick a theme (related to our topic) so you have an idea for the kind of sounds and picture you want to create with your piece.

Access 2Sequence in your 2dos on Purple Mash and then choose one of these to try:

You can always do more than one if you have time.

1. Can you create some music that mimics a volcano erupting?

2. Can you create some music that is like ocean waves crashing?

3. Can you create some music that is like a thunderstorm?

4. Can you create some music that is like a river flowing calmly?
