Monday Maths - Multiplying 4 Digits by 2 Digits Basic Practice

Art

Today's Art is all about nature so we're going to need some naturally occurring objects - anything man made is not allowed. You could pick some of these on a walk, around the garden or even around the house. Try to find something with interesting shapes.

Watch the video first.

Once you have your object, look at the interesting shapes that appear on it and focus on them. Georgia O'Keeffe was famous for her huge pictures which focussed on a specific part of nature.

You could draw :

1. the middle of a flower showing the petals, stigma, style, anther and filament

2. the end of a stick which has been broken

3. a stone with some jagged (but hopefully not sharp) edges.

These are just suggestions - you choose the object you draw and them colour in the style of Georgia O'Keeffe.

Have fun and we look forward to seeing them uploaded.
