Our Class

Class Teacher: Mr Stephen Blake

Teaching Assistants: Mrs Riley

Other Teaching Staff: Miss Yeomans (PPA cover) and Mrs Foster (SENDCo cover - once a fortnight).

We are a happy class of 29. We learn new things everyday and love earning stickers for our merit cards.

We bring our book bags to school everyday and practise our reading at home as often as possible.

Miss Yeomans is in class every Wednesday morning, where she teaches whole class lessons (see the Y2 timetable). 

This term Y2 will have P.E. every Tuesday and Thursday. Please come to school wearing your P.E. kit on these days.

We look after our classroom.

Our Y2 Expectations

We take pride in our work across the curriculum. Below is a list of the Y2 non-negotiatiables:

1. Finger spaces
2. Form capital letters
3. Correct number formation 0 – 100
4. Correct letter size
5. Correctly formed handwriting (ascenders, descenders)
6. Correctly spell the days of the week (by the end of Year 2)
