We work hard in Year 1 to demonstrate this list of non-negotiables in all of our work. Please take opportunities to support your child's writing development at home, reinforcing the following skills.

 

1. Finger spaces

2. Form lower case and capital letters

3. Correct number formation 0-9

4. Correct letter formation, written on the line

5. Sit correctly at the table
