Reading Eggs/Eggspress

From the 8th of March there will be one assignment set on Reading Eggs/Eggspress per week as part of the Year 2 homework. The assignment will be set on a Monday and expire on the Wednesday of the same week at midnight. Some weeks the assignment will just be computer based but other weeks there will be worksheets to complete alongside the computer work. The children will bring home any worksheets on a Monday. Please return these completed worksheets to school.

There will not be an assignment set the week beginning Monday 5th July.

Mathseeds

There will be a Mathseeds assignment set every week as part of the Year 2 homework. The assignment will be set every Thursday and expire at midnight on the Sunday of the same week. Some weeks the assignment will just be computer based but other weeks there will be worksheets to complete alongside the computer work. Please return these completed worksheets to school.

There will be worksheets to accompany the assignment set on Thursday 8th July.

Spellings

New spellings will be sent home on a Monday. Please encourage your child to learn the spellings for a test the following Monday.

Reading 

Please encourage your child to read the book they bring home from school to you. It is also important that they understand what they are reading and asking them lots of questions about what they have read will check this understanding.
