Skills Day
In school, we would have been doing Sports Day skills practice so it would be great if you are able to facilitate some of these at home! Here are some of the activities that would have been completed in school:
Bat & Ball – 5 bounces then pass to the next person = 1 point per complete 5
Dribbling – 5 cones, dribble round & run/ kick it back = point per complete circuit
Potato Race – 5 bean bags & 2 hoops either side – get them all from one hoop to the other = 1 point
Target Practice – 5 bean bags + a hoop, 5 shots at getting it into the hoop = point per accurate shot
Shuttle Runs – run to and tig the cone then run back and tig the next person – point per person
Basketball Shooting – 1 shot, pass on = 1 point per goal
Skipping – skip then pass it on = point per set of 5 skips
