1 Chronicles 28:20
Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you...'
This was said to Solomon by his father, David.
"Courage is the greatest of all virtues, because if you haven't courage, you may not have an opportunity to use any of the others." - Samuel Johnson
In school we always ask the children to have courage to do the right thing, to be brave when faced with fear or doubt and to have the strength of character to stand up to what is wrong. This takes many forms, all of which are valued.
