Digi Leaders Expectations
Our Roles and Responsibilities:
- Checking laptops have been plugged back in at the end of the day per daily rota.
- Supporting with technology in school when needed (i.e. assemblies, computing lessons etc.)
- Making sure cameras and other technological equipment is charging (i.e. cameras in the docking stations.)
- Undertaking additional training to support others in school (e.g. Micro:bits.)
- Supporting with the downloading and updating of laptops when required.
- Supporting school with being Safe Online.
What will we get out of being a Digi Leader:
- Potential job opportunities in future.
- Knowledge in technological equipment, programs and software.
- Skills in how technological equipment, programs and software works.
- Increased confidence in how technology works and how to support others.
- A shared responsibility with others.
What we have promised:
- To double check that all laptops and equipment is plugged in and charging.
- To look after and take care of the equipment and report any damaged or not working equipment to Mr Hill or Mrs Womble.
- To use equipment respectfully.
- To follow instructions and do the roles and responsibilities listed above.
- To be a good, honest worker
- To be a good role-model to other children in school by supporting them to take care, look after equipment and put equipment away correctly.
- To listen and help others, if and when needed.
