Things to Try at Home

Your input and support at home is always welcome and has a great value in reinforcing the learning we impart at school.

Hopefully here are a few idea, thoughts, links and activities, that will help get you started.

Reading Eggs Reading Eggs is an online program designed to support children's phonics learning and reading. This can be accessed at any time and occasionally, Mrs Treweek will set the children a driving test to complete.

TT Rockstars TT Rockstars is an online learning program designed to support children with their times tables. Year 1 focus on their 10 times table in the Autumn Term, 10s and 2s in the Spring Term and 10s, 2s and 5s in the Summer Term. This can be accessed at anytime.

Numbots Numbots is a separate number-based learning program within TT Rockstars which focuses on answering a range of maths questions to support mental math fluency and understanding. You can access the different levels via Story Control and Mrs Womble will occasionally set different maths activities when needed. This website can be accessed at all times.

Rollama Rollama is designed to support children's understanding of vocabulary, grammar, punctuation and spellings which are supportive of their English reading and writing. Mrs Womble will set teacher tasks on here when necessary but the games on here, can be accessed at all times.
