Important Dates for Summer Term 2

Monday 2nd June - Start of Term 6 (Summer 2). Doors open at 8.40am.

Thursday 5th June - Y1 and Y5 to Renishaw Hall - normal school drop-off and pick up.

Friday 6th June - Wear green for the NSPCC - suggested donation of 50p for the NSPCC. 

Monday 9th June - Start of Phonics Screening Check Week.

Thursday 12th June - Woodland walk to Eckington Woods after lunch (more to follow in letter.)

Friday 20th June - Sports Day. KS1 in the morning. Approximate start at 9.30am. PTA will be serving refreshments on the day.

Friday 27th June - Wear 70's clothing or glittery clothing to celebrate 50 years of Camms school. PTA have organised an in school party in the afternoon for the children.

Tuesday 8th July - Transition Day 1 - children to come to school via the Year 1 doors and leave via the Year 1 doors.

Wednesday 9th July - Transition Day 2 - children to come to school via the Year 2 doors and leave via the Year 2 doors.

Thursday 24th July - Break up for the Summer Break!

Important Dates for Summer Term 1

Tuesday 22nd April - Start of Term 5. School will open at 8.40am.

Monday 28th April - National Space Centre Trip - see message will be sent with reminders. Children to arrive at 8.15am.

Monday 5th May - May Day - School Closed to Children

Wednesday 7th May - Early reading session in school. Doors to open at 8.20am. Come and enjoy a book with your child.

Thursday 15th May - Phonics Workshop 2 starting at 3.15pm and finishing at 4.15pm. Focusing on how to prepare your child for the phonics screening check.

Thursday 22nd May - Skills Day - more to follow on this. Break up for half-term. End of Term 5.

Friday 23rd May - Inset Day - School closed to children

Monday 24th February - School re-opens at 8.40am. Start of Term 4 (Spring Term 2.)

Tuesday 11th March - Dance Festival at the Winding Wheel, Chesterfield. Children to arrive at school for 8.15am. Coach will leave at 8.30am prompt.

Thursday 20th March - Phonics Workshop for parents and children in Year 1 classroom at 3.15pm - 4.15pm. Come and learn phonics with your child!

Thursday 27th March - History workshop for Year 1 (afternoon). Letter to detail more information on this.

Friday 4th April - Year 1 class assembly at 9.15am followed by Star of the Week assembly.
