Generosity
Our theme for the new them is Generosity.
The dictionary defines generosity as:
- The quality of being kind or generous
- Overly large or plentiful
The first being the act of kindness, the second being the amount of kindness (although it often refers to portion sizes!).
In school, we try to be generous in the way we speak to each other - with kind words; in how we treat each other - with kind deeds; and in how we give to each other and our work - with effort and enthusiasm.
So, to be 'generous' does not also fall to those with money or riches, but often the most generous are those that give what cannot be bought.
