Year 4
We are a enthusiastic class of 28 children and our teaching assistants are Mr Webb (mornings), Mrs Philipson, Miss Smith and Mrs Fawcett (afternoons). We are a hard-working class who like to support and encourage each other so if you see us with a sticker or certificate make sure to ask what we have achieved!
We need our PE kit in school every week, without it we can't swim or take part in PE lessons (Tuesday and Fridays) easily. We must also remember to bring our book bags to school each morning and work hard on our reading throughout the week including additional reading at home.
There will be a weekly task set on Fridays on SPaG.com if you could please ensure this is completed by the following Friday morning ready for the next one.
The children also enjoy practicing times tables using the TT Rock Stars website which can be accessed from home. There is also an app for this which can be downloaded from the usual places. This year (May/June) the Government are going to test us on our times tables so we need to know all of them as soon as possible.
Our new spelling scheme is Spelling Shed which uses interactive games to teach spelling so please check it out. There is also an app for this which can be downloaded from the website or from the usual places.
Finally, we will be updating our page with photos and relevant news for our class throughout the year so you can see all the different things we have accomplished.
