Goodbye!
As I enter my final week here, I’d just like to take this opportunity to say what a pleasure my placement has been at Eckington Camms Primary School. I have found the school to be amazingly supportive and I have been thoroughly impressed with the school’s values and ethos.
Year 2 have been a lovely class and an absolute joy to teach. The way in which they dealt with the pressures of the recent SAT exams (and all of the practice papers) is a credit to both the school and their parents, well done!
I have some very fond memories of my time here – particularly the class trip to the Chocolate By Design factory at the start of my placement. Not to mention Liam, Reuben and Byron asking if my shirt was meant to be pink or ‘had just been in the wash’...
So again, I’d like to thank all of the teachers, staff, parents and especially the children for making this a successful and hugely enjoyable placement. I will be sad to leave on Friday!
Best wishes,
Joseph Giez
