What are the arrangements for involving children and parents in the review process?

Parental and child input is an essential part of effectively evaluating learning progress.

The SENCo will arrange specific review meetings for children who have either an EHC Plan or receive top-up GRIP funding. At these meetings, parents and children can express their views in a friendly and informal setting. Targets will be review together and next steps identified.

Parental involvement for other children on the SEN register is vitally important as we seek to achieve good outcomes for children at our school. Please discuss set targets with your child's class teacher and ask how you can best support these at home. Your input in setting targets themselves can also be incredibly valuable.

You can also leave comments about how you think your child is progressing on the edukey website.
