Moving On Up

This page will contain any and all transition information as we receive it.  We will also put on here any information that might be helpful in making that move as smooth as possible.

If information from your child's chosen destination isn't on here, it means that we haven't had anything and it may have been sent directly to you.

I have just been sent an email for access to a course with practical advice about preparing children for coming back to school (whenever that may be).  PREPARING AUTISTIC & SEND CHILDREN FOR GOING BACK TO SCHOOL The course is aimed, in the first instance, at children with Autism, but the resources cover many different aspects of need, and I thought that some of it may be useful to your child and to you as a carer.

It is free to access, all you need is an email address, and when it asks for school, enter ‘Eckington Camms CE Primary School’.  It does jump straight into the course, so be ready!

I have downloaded all of the course resources, so if you would like them, I can arrange to get them to you.

I will stress again though – although the title of this course is ‘Preparing Autistic and SEND children for going back to school’, this is not any reflection on your child’s educational or emotional state.  Having watched the course, I feel that there are elements that would benefit all children in these uncertain times.
