Belongings - please make sure that your name is written into all uniform and other items. It takes less than a minute to return named items, but unfortunately unnamed items can often disappear into the abyss!
PE kits - please ensure that your PE kit is kept in school all week. We will be doing indoor and outdoor PE, so trainers and jogging suit will be needed as well as T-shirt and shorts.
Library visits - starting on Friday 7th September I will be taking one house each week to Eckington Library. We will learn about how the library is organised, select books to take out and return to school to complete an activity based on books. Exodus will be going on the 7th, Psalms on 14th, Proverbs on 21st and Genesis on 28th September. We will continue in this order every four weeks. Children need to bring their library card with them. Parents, along with their child, are responsible for returning their books before the 3 week loan period has expired. If any adults are able to walk down and back with us, it would be greatly appreciated.
