Welcome to Year 1 at Camm’s Primary School. We are a happy class of 25. Our teacher is called Mr Blake and our teaching assistant is called Miss Clayton. We learn new things everyday and enjoy school very much.

We love singing and enjoy performing to the rest of the school and parents when we do our Nativity play at Christmas and our family assemblies.

We work hard and love to take home stickers and certificates.

Our PE days are on a Monday morning and a Thursday afternoon. We need a PE kit in school everyday and please ensure that we are not wearing jewellery on these days.

We also bring our book bags to school everyday and we try and practise our reading at home as often as possible. We also enjoy practising our spellings and playing maths games at home using the Active Learn website (see link on our home page).

We enjoy phonics sessions in Year 1. We practise the new sounds that we are learning every day.
