At Camm's we are aware of the cost implications associated with all aspects of school life from uniform to dinner money, to trips and charity events, and as such, wherever possible, we aim to ease this burden on all stakeholders.
The policy below states the details associated with charging and remission, what the school will and will not charge for. In all instances, we are a not-for-profit establishment and aim only to recoup charges where presented.
There are some aspects where we will suffer losses due to price fluctuations, and also times where school might gain from those same changes - these are not intentional and have a tendency to even themselves out over the course of a year.
Where events are not financially viable due to changes in costs or not enough contributions, then events will be cancelled. There are also times when a non-refundable deposit is requested to cover the costs of booking and administration in he event of cancellation on the part of the child - this will always be communicated on the initial letter to avoid confusion.
Where a child is eligible for Pupil Premium funding, it is advisable to speak to a member of staff, as we may be able to assist with costs.
